Downtown Void High School

“Preparing students for the afterlife and beyond.”

Clubs & Activities

Get Involved (Even If You’re Dead)

Extracurriculars are an important part of the Downtown Void High School experience. Clubs provide community, structure, and a healthy outlet for haunt energy. Students are encouraged to join at least one club during their time with us.

Note: Possession of club officers is not an approved leadership strategy.

Afterlife Support Circle

A peer-led group for students adjusting to being deceased, displaced, or otherwise “not where you expected to be.” Meets weekly in the Counseling Wing with rotating staff support.

Meeting Time: Thursdays, Period 6
Location: Counseling Wing 1A

Mixed-Era Music Club

From 1950s rock to 2010s Tumblr playlists, this club welcomes students from all eras to share songs, write music, and occasionally haunt the auditorium sound system.

Meeting Time: Wednesdays, After School
Location: Auditorium / Music Wing

Yearbook & Memorial Archive

Help document student stories, create cross-era yearbook pages, and design memorial entries that honor lives without romanticizing endings.

Meeting Time: Tuesdays, Period 5
Location: Library Archive Room

Haunting Etiquette & Performance

For students interested in theatrical haunting, gentle scares, and consent-focused ghost appearances. Focus on safety, creativity, and not traumatizing classmates or staff.

Meeting Time: Mondays, After School
Location: Black Box Theater

Gardening & Graveyard Restoration

A quiet, hands-on club that tends the campus garden, memorial stones, and wildflowers that appear where they shouldn’t. Ideal for students who like dirt, plants, and minimal conversation.

Meeting Time: Saturdays (Optional)
Location: Memory Garden / Old Courtyard

Temporal Chess & Strategy Club

Board games, card games, and low-stakes competitions open to all era levels. Time behaves strangely in this room, but the games always end eventually.

Meeting Time: Fridays, Period 6
Location: Room 2B
