Student Handbook (Summary)
Core Expectations
- Respect the autonomy, boundaries, and existence status of all students.
- Attend assigned classes whenever possible (floating in the hallway does not count as attendance).
- Report major temporal anomalies, possession attempts, or echo loops to staff.
- Use haunting abilities responsibly and with consent.
A complete handbook is available in the Main Office and Library.
Haunting & Phase-Walking Policy
- Walking through walls is permitted; walking through other students is not.
- Jump scares, whispered names, and light flickers are allowed only in designated “Haunt Zones.”
- Possession of staff members, classmates, or visitors is strictly prohibited.
- Repeatedly replaying your death scene in shared spaces may trigger intervention from Counseling.
If you are unsure whether a haunting behavior is appropriate, ask a staff member or err on the side of “less dramatic.”
Technology & Temporal Devices
- Do not attempt to access timelines outside your current placement via school networks.
- Phone calls to the living world may be restricted or delayed for students experiencing intense grief.
- Unauthorized time loops, rewinds, or “just one more try” attempts are not allowed during school hours.
- Recording your death with school equipment is prohibited.
Violations may result in device restrictions, schedule adjustments, or mandatory counseling sessions.
Attendance & Resting Policies
- Students are expected to attend homeroom and core classes daily.
- If you fade, glitch, or temporarily vanish, please report to Counseling upon return.
- Designated resting areas must be respected; do not disturb students in active rest or sleep.
- Skipping class to haunt the rooftop, bathrooms, or unused stairwells is discouraged.
Note: Students who are still partially tied to the living world may have modified attendance requirements.
Conflict & Safety
- Physical, emotional, or spectral bullying is not tolerated.
- Threatening to drag someone “down with you” is considered a serious offense.
- Staff will intervene if a student appears to be reenacting or escalating dangerous scenarios.
- All students have the right to feel safe in hallways, classrooms, and resting spaces.
If you feel unsafe, unseen, or overwhelmed, please see Counseling or a trusted staff member immediately.
